Three ways to set a limit order on Frontrun.
Docs: Limit Orders · TP / SL / TSL · Chart Lines.
Prerequisite
The Frontrun extension installed and signed in, with a funded wallet on the chain you want to trade.
Right-click the chart
Fastest way to set a trigger if you already see your level on the chart.
- Enable once: Settings → Trading → Limit Orders & Chart → Chart Right-Click Limit Order (off by default)
- On Axiom, GMGN, or Terminal (Padre), right-click anywhere on the chart
- Pick Limit Buy or Limit Sell (preset sizes show as separate entries) — the order opens pre-filled at the clicked price
- Confirm size and slippage, then Buy or Sell
DexScreener doesn't expose this menu — use Step 2 instead.
Trading Panel → Limit
The standard flow inside the Instant Trade panel.
- Open the panel on any token
- Toggle Market → Limit
- Pick Buy or Sell
- Enter the size (SOL or USDC on Solana — or a P1 / P2 / P3 preset)
- Set the target price or market cap
- Click Buy or Sell
Execution settings (slippage, priority fee, tip, MEV mode, Auto Fee) apply at trigger time from your active preset.
AutoTrade
Automated Take Profit, Stop Loss, and Trailing Stop Loss layered on top of a limit order. Two ways in:
Attach to a BUY limit — on the BUY side of the trading panel, click Auto (turns green when active) to open AutoTrade, set TP / SL / TSL percentages and sell sizes, then Buy. The strategy arms at fill, anchored to your BUY trigger price.
Apply to an existing position — open the Apply AutoTrade modal from Adv. in the Sell panel, configure the strategies available for your token, then Apply. Per wallet, active orders must total ≤ 100%.
Frequently asked questions
What chains support limit orders and AutoTrade?
Both flows — attaching AutoTrade to a new BUY limit and applying it to an existing position — work across the chains Frontrun supports.
Why doesn't the chart right-click menu show up?
Enable it in Settings → Trading → Limit Orders & Chart → Chart Right-Click Limit Order. It's off by default and only supported on Axiom, GMGN, and Terminal (Padre).
Are limit orders guaranteed to fill?
No — limit orders do not guarantee execution if liquidity is insufficient at the target price.
