Fast X Post Opening

Open X post links from supported token pages faster by reusing a pre-loaded X tab. Turn it on in Settings -> Twitter, then click X links on Axiom, GMGN, Padre, DexScreener, Debot, or Trojan.

Before you start

Install the Frontrun extension, sign in, and stay signed in to X in the same browser profile. Fast X Post Opening is beta-gated, so update the extension if you do not see the setting.

Get the Frontrun extension
  1. 1. Turn it on in X settings

Open the Frontrun extension, go to Settings -> Twitter, and enable Fast X Post opening. If you already had token pages open, refresh those pages once so the latest X-link handler is active.

  2. 2. Open a supported token page

Use it on Axiom, GMGN, Padre, DexScreener, Debot, or Trojan. When the page contains X post links, Frontrun prepares one reusable X tab in the background and keeps it warm for a limited time.

  3. 3. Click an X post link

Click normally on a post link. Frontrun focuses the pre-loaded X tab and routes it to the target post, so you avoid the usual cold X startup when the warm route is available.

  4. 4. Keep browser shortcuts native

Cmd/Ctrl-click, Shift-click, and middle-click keep the browser's normal behavior. The feature is built for the primary click path when you want the fastest visible open.

Frequently asked questions

Does this change how X works inside x.com?+

No. Fast X Post Opening is for opening X posts from supported token pages. Navigation inside x.com and twitter.com stays native.

Why was the first click not instant?+

The warm X tab still has to load once, and X can sometimes reject same-page routing. When that happens, Frontrun falls back to a normal open so the click still reaches the target post.

Will this open multiple X tabs?+

Frontrun tries to keep one managed X tab and reuse it. If no reusable tab is available, or the warm route fails, it opens the target URL normally instead of dropping the click.
